From a broken process to a screened marketplace
Three moments that shaped how Excellence Tutor works today.
- The problem
Tuition matching ran on Facebook groups
Guardians posted requirements into groups with thousands of strangers, tutors paid unknown middlemen for phone numbers, and nobody verified anybody. Good tutors and serious guardians both lost time.
- The idea
Treat verification as the product
We started from the opposite end: check identity and institution first, publish second. That single inversion removes most of the risk on both sides of the marketplace.

Our mission
To make finding a qualified, trustworthy tutor in Bangladesh as ordinary and as low-risk as buying a book — for every guardian, in every district, at a price that is stated up front.
Protect both sides
Guardian phone numbers stay off the public board. Tutor numbers stay off public profiles. Introductions happen through the desk so nobody gets spammed and nobody gets scammed.
Charge once, transparently
Guardians pay nothing. Tutors pay a single confirmation charge after a tuition is actually confirmed. No subscriptions, no application fees, no commission on anyone's salary.
Stay accountable after the match
The relationship does not end at introduction. A replacement guarantee, a real hotline and a reference number on every request mean somebody is still responsible in month two.
