What exactly is Excellence Tutor?
Excellence Tutor is a tuition media — a marketplace that connects guardians and students with screened, identity-verified tutors across all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Guardians post what they need, our desk shortlists suitable tutors, and you pick the one you like after a demo class.
Do I need an account to browse tuition jobs?
No. Every live tuition job on the job board is fully readable without signing in. You only need an account when you want to apply for a tuition or manage your applications.
How quickly will I get a tutor after posting a request?
Our desk calls you back within one working day to confirm the requirement. For Dhaka, Chattogram and other metro areas we usually share a shortlist within 24–48 hours. For remote upazilas it can take 3–5 working days depending on tutor availability.
Is Excellence Tutor available outside Dhaka?
Yes. We publish tuition jobs from all eight divisions and our tutor network covers all 64 districts. Coverage density is highest in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Sylhet and Mymensingh, and online tutoring is available everywhere.

How do I request a tutor?
Fill in the tuition request form with your area, the student's class, subjects and budget. You will get a reference number immediately, and our desk will call you to confirm the details before we publish the job to tutors.
Can I meet the tutor before confirming?
Yes — every match includes a free demo class. You can book a demo class with any tutor from their profile. If the demo does not go well, you are under no obligation to continue and you pay nothing.
What if the tutor stops coming or is not a good fit?
You are covered by our replacement guarantee. Tell the desk within the first month and we will arrange a replacement tutor at no extra charge. See the refund & replacement policy for the exact terms.
How do you verify tutors?
Before a tutor profile goes live we check their National ID against the name on their profile, their student ID or degree certificate from their institution, and their mobile number. Profiles that fail any check are not published. Verified profiles carry a green Verified badge.
Do you share my phone number publicly?
Never. Your contact details are visible only to our desk. Tutors reach you through Excellence Tutor, and tutor phone numbers are likewise never shown on public profiles.

How do I become a verified tutor?
Create a free account, complete your profile (education, subjects, preferred areas and expected salary) and upload your NID plus a student ID or certificate. Verification usually takes 1–2 working days. Join as a tutor.
How many tuitions can I apply for?
As many as genuinely match your subjects, class levels and preferred areas. Applications that clearly do not match the requirement get rejected by the desk, and a pattern of mismatched applications lowers your ranking — so apply selectively.
When do I get the guardian's contact details?
Once the guardian approves your application, our desk shares the contact details with you and schedules the demo class. Until then, all communication runs through Excellence Tutor.
Does a higher rating actually help?
Yes. Tutors with a strong rating, a complete profile and a history of completed tuitions appear higher in guardian searches and get shortlisted first by the desk.
Fees & charges
What is free, what is paid, and when.
Is Excellence Tutor free for guardians?
Yes — completely. Posting a tuition request, receiving a shortlist, running demo classes and replacing a tutor are all free for guardians and students. We never take a cut of the tuition fee you pay your tutor.
What does a tutor pay?
Nothing to register, nothing to browse and nothing to apply. A tutor pays a one-time confirmation charge only after a tuition is confirmed and the first month is agreed. The current rate and payment instructions are on the charges page.
How is the confirmation charge paid?
Through bKash or Nagad to the official Excellence Tutor number listed on the charges page. Always send money only to the number published there and always keep the transaction ID — our desk will confirm receipt against it.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. There is no monthly subscription, no per-application fee, no listing boost fee and no commission on your salary. If anyone asks you for a payment outside the published charge, report it to our desk immediately.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in the situations described in our refund & replacement policy — mainly when a confirmed tuition falls through within the guarantee window for reasons outside your control.

How we keep the marketplace clean.
How do I report a suspicious job or profile?
Every tuition detail page has a “Report this job” link, and you can always reach us through the contact desk. We investigate every report and remove listings that break our rules.
Should I ever pay a guardian or a tutor in advance?
No. Excellence Tutor never asks for an advance payment to a guardian, and no guardian should ask a tutor for a security deposit. Treat any such request as a red flag and report it.
What happens to my documents after verification?
NID and certificate images are stored encrypted, used only for verification, and are never shown on your public profile or shared with guardians.
